87 days after the news of the Gulf oil spill hit our computer screens, BP has finally announced — and backed up with their video feed — that no more oil is flowing into the Gulf of Mexico. The statement was made yesterday and BP noted this morning that their temporary solution was working and there was no sign of fresh leaks. BP is continuing their work on relief wells that are thought to be a more permanent fix, but at least no new oil will be entering the waters of the Gulf (for now).
