Tesla Unveils Roadster 2.5 — a New Body and a Sexier Look
In our opinion, The Tesla Roadster was already the sexiest car on the road — and now the first all-electric sports car to hit the market has gotten a stylish upgrade with the release of the Roadster 2.5! The Tesla Roadster can travel up to 245 miles per charge on its lithium-ion battery and goes from 0 to 60 in 3.7 seconds. Previously the Roadster was all curves, with a body that rolled like an ocean wave. Now the Roadster 2.5 has hit the streets and it looks like the folks over at Tesla decided to give it a little more edge. Might we say that adding a little fierceness has done the body well.

Spiraling Triple Towered Eco Skyscraper for Cairo
Cairo deserves an eco-skyscraper just as much as any other city and they couldn’t ask for much more than this spiraling eco tower, designed by Mohamed Abdel-Aziz. Called Space-Scraper, the eye-catching mixed-use development is composed of three twisting towers – one each for office, hotel and residential space, and a “geo-sphere” health center sits perched at the top. Powered by solar panels and wind turbines, the skyscraper has optimized views of the adjacent Nile River and the nearby pyramids.

First Electric Highway in US to be I-5 from Canada to Oregon
Washington state is about to turn a section of Interstate-5 — all the way from Canada to Oregon — into the nation’s first electric highway. Thanks to a $1.32 million federal grant, they’ll be able to install 10 Level-3 electric charging stations along the route. Each station is capable of charging at 400 volts and 30 amps or more and at these stations a typical EV would be 80% charged in just about 30 minutes. Plug in, grab a cup of coffee, chat with fellow travelers, and be on your way.

Malaysian Airline launches 3-year integrity plan
KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airlines (MAS) yesterday launched a three-year MAS Integrity Plan (MIP) to inculcate a culture of best practices in integrity and ethical behaviour throughout the organisation.
MAS chairman Tan Sri Dr Munir Majid launched the MIP at the two-day Quality Assurance Conference, starting yesterday.
In a statement, Munir said the MIP would reaffirm the airline’s commitment to strengthen its corporate governance policy to promote greater transparency, openness and respect towards its stakeholders.
“Ethical behaviour and integrity are non-negotiable code of conduct expected of every employee. While our employees are already governed and abided by the existing code of conduct, the MIP is a systematic way of reinforcing the best practices,” he said. — Bernama
He said emphasis would be on mitigating fraud throughout the organisation through a thorough process of education, prevention, assurance, enhancement as well as a reward and reprimand system.
The airline also launched the “Fraud Risk Indicator Dashboard” to facilitate continuous auditing and monitoring of potential fraud risk areas.
Munir said the dashboard was built based on 20 indicators which were common to the airline industry.“We have absolutely zero tolerance of fraud“Systems and processes for these potential fraud risk areas are automated, closely monitored and will be reported immediately to management should the need arises. This will be complemented with reward and reprimand system,” he said.
