Pavilion Kuala Lumpur Shopping Mall is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. One of the newest shopping mall in KL. It was officially opened on 20 September 2007. Situated in Bukit Bintang Kuala Lumpur which is one of the top location in Kuala Lumpur Shopping Area. With over 450 retail outlets spread across 7 levels of retail complex, making Pavillion KL is one of the largest shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur. It is basically consists of 4 major components; a retail mall, an office tower, two towers of residences and a hotel. The 1,400,000 square feet (130,000 m2) of retail space is divided into 6 precincts : Bintang Circle, Gourmet Emporium, Couture, Connection, Home and Seventh Heaven.
Historically, the site where Pavilion KL stands now is used to be a school. The school name is Bukit Bintang Girls’ School, one of the oldest school in Kuala Lumpur. The school was vacated in 2000 and moved to its new location in Cheras and had renamed itself as Sekolah Seri Bintang Utara.
